There seems to be a big misconception among buyers that there aren't a lot of affordable homes in Wallingford and New Haven County. We are here to tell you that there are affordable homes, you just have to know where to look. One place to search is www.hudhomestore.com. Not a lot of brokers out there are certified to sell HUD homes, but we are. Right now, you can get a single family home with 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, 1500 square feet, and a 2 car garage for under $200,000. In fact, we just sold one on South Orchard St. for $115,000.
If you think there are no affordable homes out there, you are mistaken. The great thing about HUD homes is that they are pretty easy to finance, and all you need is a little bit of guidance from a HUD certified broker.
